How to Join PAF 2021 With Primary to Higher Education [Everything You Need to Know]

The students in Pakistan wants to Join PAF to be the Pride of the Nation. Pakistan air force is the 13th top air force of the world, which is working for the aerial defence of Pakistan. After the Pak army, the PAF is the second security priority of the country. That gives the opportunity to the students by offering the careers through the aerial frontiers of Pakistan. The detailed discussion of the seats and jobs that the students can get after matric, intermediate or graduation are as follows:

Join PAF After Matric

There is good news for the Pakistani students who are just matric pass that they can join the PAF After Matric. When the students after matric are conscious of getting the jobs, the PAF gives them the opportunity to make their career by serving the country. The ranks in PAF after matric are as follows:

  • Aero Trades
  • Mechanical Transport Driver (MTD)
  • Provost Trade
  • Ground Combatiers (GC)

Aero Trades

Students can join PAF after matric as an aero trader. For this, they have to pass the intelligence and some written tests. By selecting as the Aero Trader, they will work in the aviation industry and work in metal fabrication as the skilled workers. In order to get the position of the Aero Trade, the nationality must be Pakistani; the status should be unmarried. The matric degree is necessary with 60% marks, specifically 33% in mathematics, physics and chemistry and 47% in English. The age must be 15-20 years, and the height must be 163cm for males and 145cm for females.

Mechanical Transport Driver (MTD)

If anyone wants to join the PAF after matric, then he/ she can apply as the mechanical transport driver. The marital status should be unmarried, and the nationality must be Pakistani. The candidates must have the matric degree with minimum 50% marks, and specifically, 45% marks in English. The age must be 17-24 years with a height of 168cm.

Provost Trade

The candidates can also apply in the provost trade in which they get the training regarding physical aspects and investigation techniques. The marital status should be unmarried with Pakistani nationality. The candidates must have the matric degree with minimum 55% marks, and specifically, 45% marks in English. The age must be 17-24 years with a height of 175cm.

Ground Combatiers (GC)

Ground Competitors are the airmen; matric pass students can also apply for this post. The marital status should be unmarried with Pakistani nationality. The candidates must have the matric degree with minimum 55% marks, and specifically, 45% marks in English. The age must be 17-22 years with a height of 175cm.

Join PAF After Intermediate (F.A, FSc Or ICS)

The students can also apply to join PAF after intermediate. There are several posts in which they can apply. The students who have the result of 2nd year, or recently gave the examinations of 2nd years can apply with the result card of 1st year along with the HOPE certificate. There are different posts in which students can apply after intermediate; these are as follows:

  • General Duty (GD Pilot)
  • Aeronautical Engineering

General Duty (GD Pilot)

The candidates can Join Pak Air Force (PAF) after intermediate as a pilot. The required education for this field is FSC, Pre-engineering, Pre-medical, ICS, A-Level with math, biology and physics with 60% marks. The males can apply in the permanent commission (PC), and the ladies can apply in the short service commission (SSC). The marital status should be unmarried, and the nationality must be Pakistani. The age must be 16-22 years with a height of 163cm.

Aeronautical Engineering

The candidates can Join Pak Air Force (PAF) after intermediate as the aeronautical engineering. The required education for this field is FSc, Pre-engineering (Chemistry), A-Level with math, biology and physics with 65% marks. Only males can apply for this post in the Permanent Commission (PC). The marital status should be unmarried, and the nationality must be Pakistani. The age must be 16-22 years with a height of 163cm for males and 147cm for females.

Air Defense

The candidates can Join Pak Air Force (PAF) after intermediate at the post of air defence, in which they will handle the radar controls of the aeroplanes. The required education for this field is FSC, Pre-engineering, ICS, A-Level with math, biology and physics with 60% marks. Only males can apply in the permanent commission (PC). The marital status should be unmarried, and the nationality must be Pakistani. The age must be 16-22 years with a height of 163cm.

Special Duties

The candidates can Join Pak Air Force (PAF) after intermediate by applying in the special duties. The candidates in ISSB have different fields such as psychologists, GTO or deputy president; these are the special duties. The required education for this field is FSC, Pre-engineering, Pre-medical, ICS, A-Level with math, biology and physics with 60% marks. Only males can apply in the permanent commission (PC). The marital status should be unmarried, and the nationality must be Pakistani. The age must be 16-22 years with a height of 163cm.

Logistics

The candidates can Join Pak Air Force (PAF) after intermediate in the logistic department; they will be responsible for taking the gadgets and things from one place to another. The required education for this field is FSC, Pre-engineering, ICS, A-Level with math, biology and physics with 60% marks. Only males can apply in the permanent commission (PC). The marital status should be unmarried, and the nationality must be Pakistani. The age must be 16-22 years with a height of 163cm.

Join PAF After Graduation

The students can also Join Pak Air Force (PAF) after graduation. . There are courses that the management of the PAF offers the students, and after getting the proper training, they can be selected as the officer in the PAF. There are a total of three types of courses with different posts; the details are as follows:

  • Permanent Cadet (PC) Course
  • Short Service Course (SSC) Course
  • SPSSC Courses

Permanent Cadet (PC) Course

This course is applicable for the students after intermediate and graduation as well.

  • General Duty (Pilot): The candidates can Join Pak Air Force (PAF) after graduation as a pilot.
  • General Duty (Navigator): The candidates can Join Pak Air Force (PAF) after graduation as the aeronautical engineering.

  • Skin Specialists (Classified/ Graded Specialist): They will give the skincare services.
  • ENT Specialists (Classified/ Graded Specialist): They will deal with the disorders of body parts such as neck, head, throat etc.
  • Radiologists (Classified/ Graded Specialist): They will deal as the healthcare professionals and serve the army people by taking X-rays, MRI, CT Scan etc.
  • Anesthetists (Classified/ Graded Specialist): They will be doctors and specialized physicians.
