2: Join Pak Army as Mujahid Force

You can join as a Sanitary Worker in the Mujahid Force of Pak Army. We have discussed its requirements below:

Join as General Duty Sipahi

You can join the Mujahid Force of Pakistan Army as General Duty Sipahi. The criteria of this rank described below:

  • Qualification: Join the mujahid force your eligibility should be Matric or above. Below Matric Pak Army doesn’t offer this rank.
  • Age: Your age should be between 18-23 years to join as General Duty Sipahi.
  • Height: 5’6″ of Height is required to join this rank in Pakistan Army.

Clerk in Mujahid Force

You can also join as Clerk in Pakistan Army in the Mujahid Force. You just need to fulfil the following requirements:

  • Qualification: To participate as Clerk is required to be Intermediate or above Below Intermediate, you can join ranks discussed above.
  • Age: The age limit for Clerk is between 18-23 years.
  • Height: Height should be minimum 5’6″ to join the Army as Clerk.

3: Armed Forces Nursing Services (AFNS)

Female can apply for this rank, whether you have nursing experience or not. Only Female candidates can apply for this rank. Its Induction takes place in July of every year. The criteria for both trained and untrained nurses discussed below:

  • Qualification: Matric in Science with 60% marks minimum, FSc Pre-Medical with 50% marks minimum. Female students who have given final exams of FSc (2nd year), but the result awaited can also apply with a hope certificate.
  • Nursing Diploma and Midwifery, B.Sc. generic nursing or Post (R.N.) B.Sc. generic nursing.
  • Age: Your age for trained nurses should be between 18-28 and untrained between 17-27 years.
  • Height: Height requirement for AFNS is 5.’

AFNS Selection Procedure

Initial Test: Preliminary Intelligence & Academic Test It depends on the subjects you’ve studied yet.

Medical Test: Initial Medical Test Only those candidates who pass academic and intelligence tests receive medical test letters.

Interview: Interviews by GHQ Selection Boards Only selected candidates who pass the medical test receive an interview call

Final Selection: And in last, eligible candidates are selected by GHQ (General Headquarters)

Training: After final selection, Trained Nurses to have six weeks of basic military training in the following institutes:

  • AFPGMI Rawalpindi
  • CMH Kharian

Untrained Nurses required to do a four years nursing program or training at the following institutes of Pak Army:

  • Armed Forces Post Graduate Medical Institute Rawalpindi

4: Commissioned Officer Through PMA Long Course

You can join Pakistan Army as Commissioned Officer through PMA long course. Most students are applying for after Intermediate or F.Sc. This course is only for Unmarried (Married males who are serving Pak Army already as soldiers and are over 20 years old can also apply).  Its Induction takes place in April and October. There are different age limits for different qualifications or education. Every detail discussed below.

PMA Long Course Requirements

Qualification: Intermediate or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks, Students who give Intermediate (2nd year) final exams but result awaited, can apply based on hope certificate as well. Along with a Hope Certificate by the Head of College or University. Two years of Graduation OR Serving PN/PAF officials. Graduates with a 4-year graduation program. B.A (Hons), BS (Hons), BBA, and BPA. Candidates having minimum 50% marks in intermediate but having a minimum of 60% marks and above in Graduation are eligible.

Height: Height must be -5′ -4′ (162.5cm)

Relaxation of Marks: Serving Army Soldier 50% marks in F.A/FSc and equivalent. 55% of candidates from the specified area with Domicile include Balochistan, FATA, Gilgit, District Neelum Azad Jammu Kashmir, Kohistan, Chitral, Balakot, Mansehra, Tharparkar, Tehsil Umar, Rajanpur, Cholistan and Drawer.

Relaxation Of Age: Age as on 01 May/01 Nov Each Year Intermediate or equivalent is between 17-22 years. Relaxation of three months both in upper and lower age limit under exceptional circumstances.

  • Graduates (2-Year) Or serving PN/PAF officials should be between 17-23 years.
  • Graduates with a 4-Year program for this qualification are between 17-24 years.
  • Serving Army Soldiers for this qualification is between 17-25 years.
  • Relaxation of three months both in upper and lower age limit under exceptional circumstances.

PMA Long Course Selection Procedure

Initial Test: Written and Intelligence test contains MCQs of some subjects, including English, Mathematics, Islamiat, Pakistan Studies, and General Knowledge.

Physical Test: Candidates who pass the written test are required to give physical tests In this Test; your whole body physique teste. This test includes running, push-ups, chin-ups, etc.

Medical Test: Candidates who pas physical tests further called for medical tests. In this test, your whole medical checkup is conducted, making sure that you don’t have any medical issues which could cause your problem further.

Interview: Candidates who are successful in the medical test called for an interview. In the interview, they ask you some questions analyzing your intelligence and goals in life and much more.

ISSB Test: After the interview, candidates called for ISSB. After ISSB, your medical reports examined thoroughly.

Interview: Above all procedures, GHQ selects the final candidates examining your physical/ medical tests, interview, and ISSB.

Training: When candidates are shortlisted, they are recruited as a general cadet (GC) for two years of training, and then they are promoted to the rank of Second Lieutenant

Stipend: During these two years, Participants don’t have to pay any fees and receive a monthly stipend as well.

5. Join Pak Army as Medical Cadets (AMC)

Students can join Pakistan Army as a Medical Cadet as well. As the name tells, this is only for those students that have the degree of FSc Pre-medical. Its Induction happens in June of every year. To apply for this course, you need to fulfil the criteria given below.

AMC Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualification: Your education should be F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) with a minimum of 70% marks. Students who have given final exams of F.S.s. (Part II) can apply based on a hope certificate, but in this case, 70% in part I is compulsory.
  • Age: To apply for Medical Cadet in Pak Army, your age should be between 17-21 years.
  • Height: Height should be a minimum of 5’4 ″ to apply for this course.

Selection Procedure for Medical Cadet

Academic Test: The written test of candidates’ subjects, including Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and English.

Physical Test: Candidates who pass the written test are required to give physical tests. In this test, your whole-body physique tested. This test includes running, push-ups, chin-ups, etc.

Medical Test: Candidates who pass physical tests further called for the medical examination. In this test, your whole medical checkup is conducted, making sure that you don’t have any medical issues which could cause your problem further.

Intelligence & Personality Test: Candidates who pass Medical tests called for the Intelligence/Personality Test—your personality tests like your way of thinking and your point of view about certain things and more.

Detailed Medical Examination: After ISSB, your medical reports examined thoroughly.

Final Selection: After all the above procedures carried out, GHQ selects the final candidates based on your physical/ medical tests, interview, and ISSB.

Provincial Test Requirement: To get selected in the final selection, the candidate must have given at least one of the following provincial tests:

  • MDCAT
  • NUMS
  • ETA
  • SET(AJ&K)

Admission: After getting selected by GHQ candidates in MBBS/BDS in any of the following institutes:

  • Army Medical College (CMH Lahore)
  • Quetta Institute Of Medical Sciences
  • Army Medical College Karachi
  • CMH Multan

Stipend: Candidates don’t have to pay any fees and receive a monthly stipend as well.

Training: After completing their MBBS/BDS, participants give training for a further 22 weeks.

Bond Agreement: After their training candidate joins as Captain (Doctor) and a bond signed according to which a candidate must serve the Pak Army for a minimum of 13 years.

6: Join as Technical Cadet Course (TCC)

Students can join Pak Army as a Technical Cadet. Its Induction happens in February of every year. To apply for this course, you need to fulfil the criteria given below.

Technical Cadet Course Requirements

  • Qualification: Your education should be F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering) or ICS with a minimum of 65% marks. Students who have given final exams of F.S.s. (Part II) can apply based on a home certificate, but in this case, 70% in part I is compulsory.
  • Age: To apply for Medical Cadet in Pakistan Army, your age should be between 17-21 years.
  • Height: Height should be a minimum of 5’4 ″ to apply for this course.

TCC Selection Procedure

Intelligence Test: Candidates who pass Medical tests called for the Intelligence/Personality Test—your personality test like your way of thinking and your point of view about certain things and more.

7: Army Medical Corps as M Cadet

You can join Pakistan Army medical corps as an “M” cadet. To apply for this course, you need to fall on the following criteria:

  • Qualification: 4th year of MBBS to apply as an “M” cadet. PM&DC must recognize your medical college.
  • Age: The age limit to apply is 20-26 years.
  • Height: Your Height should be 5’4 ″ to apply for this course.

Medical Cadet Selection Procedure

Physical Test: This test mainly conducted to check your whole-body form and shape. Army makes sure that you are fit to join based on the results of this test.

Preliminary Medical Test: After a physical examination, the candidate’s medical test conducted to make sure that they don’t have any viral disease that can cause a problem in the future.

Intelligence & Personality Test: Completion of MBBS (Participants who will get selected will complete their MBBS). After completing MBBS, the candidate has to pass the Intelligence and Personality Test.

8: Join Pak Army Through Graduate Course
